You can use Stay in Business to decide which task
Has to be completed first,
Has to be completed last,
Must begin after a particular task is completed,
Must begin before a particular task is completed,
Must be completed before a particular task begins,
Must be completed after a particular business continuity tasks begins
Stay in Business lets you dynamically define interdependencies between numerous tasks through one to one and one-to-many relationships. You can also establish dependencies for ad hoc tasks that are created on the spur of the moment during a crisis situation.
During an emergency, it is plausible for your organization to discover that some of the dependencies between business continuity tasks hamper execution. Therefore, even while plans are being executed, SIB gives you the flexibility to modify dependencies between different tasks as many times as required. For instance, if three business continuity tasks are to be executed one after the other, but due to time constraints your BCDR team decides to bypass the second task, then you can modify the dependencies such that the third business continuity task is executed immediately after the first one.
Business continuity tasks get reassigned to the alternate employees when the primary staff option is not available to execute the task. But even if the alternate employee is not available, the SIB BCDR Platform gives you the convenience of reassigning the task to another employee.
